TERM AND CONDITIONS
By ordering from Dreamy Mix you acknowledge and accept our terms and conditions outlined below.
ORDERING/PAYMENTS
All orders are to be paid in full with the exception of wedding cakes when the order is placed by phone, email or through our website. Wedding cakes require a 15% non-refundable deposit at time of ordering and the remaining balance to be paid 15 days before your scheduled pick up or delivery date otherwise the order maybe cancelled (see cancellation terms). Once payment has been processed, order is deemed accepted.
CHANGES
All changes to orders must be made in writing to dreamymix22@gmail.com at least 5 days before your scheduled pick up or delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot be guaranteed and maybe subject to additional charges.
CANCELLATION
All order cancellations must be made in writing to dreamymix22@gmail.com and will incur a 15% non-refundable fee to cover time already spent in the preparation of the order, custom components created in advance and the lost of production time slot for another customer. Cancellations of Standard, Celebration or Kids cakes will be accepted no less than 3 days before the scheduled pick up or delivery date. Cancellation of Custom and Wedding cakes will be accepted no less than 15 days before scheduled pick up or delivery date. No refunds will be given to cancellations less than these required days. Refunds will be provided as a store credit or bank transfer.
REFUNDS - CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS
In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your order, please contact dreamymix22@gmail.com within 24/48 hours of your event with the uneaten portion, we will do an assessment of the cake and refunds are decided on a case-by-case basis, but please note that we do not provide refunds in cases where an item was prepared correctly but a flavour or texture did not meet a personal preference. All refunds will incur a 15% non-refundable fee for the initiating of an order and the balance will be refunded as store credit or bank transfer. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund on a cake that has been fully consumed. Dreamy Mix is not liable for the cost of the return of the cake.
REFUNDS - NON CONSUMABLE ITEMS
If any non-consumable products (ie: cake accessories) purchased with consumable products, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantees Act (CGA) to provide a remedy. In this case, an assessment of the accessory will be done and the faulty item (in its original packaging) are required, and you must make contact with us no later than 48hours after purchase.
ARTISTRY DISCLAIMER
We are creative and express this through our cakes with each of the decorative elements being hand placed artistically, therefore no two cakes will be identical. Requests for specific designs will be followed with attentive care but elements may become unavailable, however we will endeavour to replace such elements to maintain the integrity of each design.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We strive to ensure our products are described as accurately as possible on our website, however we do not warrant that the description is accurate, where we become aware of any incorrect description, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission.
Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will be reproduced in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.
PRICING
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We endeavour to ensure that our prices are current. Each item is individually priced and we reserve the right to amend our prices at any time. If you have placed an order, we undertake to fulfil your order at the price listed at the time you ordered.
DELIVERY/PICK UP OPTIONS & TRANSPORTATION
We may provide delivery of products, in this case the terms will be communicated per case basis. If you choose to pick-up your cake order and transport it yourself, Dreamy Mix is not liable or responsible for any damages in part or whole caused to the cake once it leaves our premises.
PUBLICATIONS
We reserve the right to use photos of all creations made by Dreamy Mix in any form of media including but not limited to display or promotion without compensation to you the customer.
